IAP provides financial and technical assistance to UNCF-member institutions via a competitive RFP awards process. Grant may be used to increase staffing, enhance technological capacity and support the development and implementation of fund-raising programs related to annual giving, major gifts and planned giving. In addition to financial support, grantees also receive technical support and consultative services from advancement professionals. These services are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of each grantee’s IA department and have included assistance in developing IA strategic plans, management programs, constituent relations plans, annual fund program components, prospect research programs and major gifts fund-raising programs.
